The Assistive Technology Resource and Research Center (ATRRC)
is dedicated to promoting the inclusion of persons with
disabilities (PWDs) into mainstream society. It serves as a focal point
for coordinating, conducting, and disseminating services related to PWDs
including assistive technology training/education and research. Presently,
its focus is restricted to vision and mobility impairment.
The mission of ATTRC is:
- To facilitate students, staff, and faculty who
have disabilities by coordinating and providing support services that
enable reasonable access to an education, employment, and university
life.
- To promote and develop technologies that enable independent living
of PWDs.
- To be a resource and training center for other
institutions/organizations and individuals.

Web Accessibility Workshop at LUMS
(1 - 4 March 2010): A four-day hands-on workshop on accessible Web content
design and development. The target audience includes web developers and
technology leads. Registration is open. Hurry, as limited seats are available!

1 - 4 March, 2010
We are organizing a "Web Accessibility Workshop" at
LUMS. This 4 day event will provide the theory and
practice of accessible Web content design and development, relying on the W3C WCAG (Web
Content Accessibility Guidelines). For details, including registration
